Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she coaches athletes. Annie has been the first female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete, weightlifter as well as a media star. The media acclaim came from her becoming the first female to win taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017, she was awarded in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik with her family. As a child, Annie was an avid sporting fan, and she loved working out. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. In 2009, she participated in her first CrossFit competition in California. The performance of her was excellent in the games. Annie Thorisdottir's ages are 31 years old (as of 2021). She stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 77.5kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventures in California in the year 2009. Annie did very well in her very first event, finishing within the top 10. She was not able achieve any title which was why she ended 11th on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in second place, and also won the silver medal same year. In the following year she was a participant in CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performance. It was her first time as a woman to ever be the winner of CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie was again the winner of at the CrossFit Games because of her remarkable performance. She was the first woman athlete who was able to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. Besides this in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won an Olympic bronze medal at CrossFit Games. At present, Annie coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie, who is an athlete in the making, has been featured in commercials for products that are used in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Transparent Labs for Periodization and others. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel named "Annie" that has over 3000 viewers. The channel has videos on eating habits for training and life with family.
