Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer who is best recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in when she made her stage debut. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in several Broadway shows before gaining her way to national prominence with Li'l Abner' in 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut music album called The album is Tina Time. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre a drama film released 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise was awarded her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. While students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next notable role she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on for in 1964. Louise kept juggling her work across Broadway television and Hollywood, portraying more somber characters as opposed to her perception as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she also has made her name as a director who has been successful in various well-known television shows like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28 in 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto for her early years. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
